You may have heard by now: myTukar is now Carro! Read our FAQ

Since 2019, myTukar has been powered by Carro, Southeast Asia’s largest used car marketplace in Southeast Asia. Today, we’re officially renaming ourselves to Carro, bringing even more cutting-edge technologies, products, and services to you!

You may have some questions about what this means for you as a customer, so don’t worry, we’ll try to answer them for you!

I booked a car with myTukar recently. What happens next? 

Nothing! The name change will not affect your purchase, including the contract, price, warranty or guarantees. 

What happens to myTukar vouchers and discounts and offers that I have?

They remain valid and you may use them as per the T&Cs! All the contracts/packages signed with vendors before 11 March 2024 will still be honoured as per the T&Cs and we will continue services till the end of the contracts or your voucher expiry date.

Will pricing and the products offered change?

Prices will still be in  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit). Furthermore, myTukar Certified cars and Carro Certified cars will still be the same quality cars that are As Good As New. They all go through a 160-point inspection, have a 5-day money back guarantee and a 12-month warranty on the engine and gearbox. They also have no mileage tampering and no major accidents, fire or flood damage. 

Is my quotation for my car still valid? 

Your quotations and any prices you see on our ads and website are still valid as per the T&Cs and will not be affected by the name change. 

Will my warranties still be in effect?

All warranties remain intact and in effect as per the T&Cs. There will be no change. 

Will service quality/policies change?
No, nothing changes. Our service quality, policies and processes will not be affected by the name change. In fact, we strive to continually improve so that you can get a pleasant experience whenever you shop with Carro.  

Will there be any staffing changes that might affect me?

No, there will be no changes. You may still continue to contact your usual sales or customer service representative directly if you have their contact details. 

If I buy a car in Malaysia, can I return it in Singapore? 

No. All purchases, services and warranties bought in Malaysia will only apply in Malaysia. Please approach your sales representative in Malaysia if you need assistance.
