Because of the COVID-19 situation, we'll have to do our part and celebrate a little differently. Thankfully, we\u2019re doing pretty fine here in Singapore and not all celebrations are cancelled. Here's a guide to New Year\u2019s Celebrations for 2021.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even though we are now in Phase 3, that doesn\u2019t mean that all events are back. That particularly applies to the annual Marina Bay Countdown. The authorities have announced that Countdown event is being cancelled this year to minimize crowds. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But the celebrations are going to be brought towards the heartlands. This means that they aren\u2019t any fireworks in town this year. <\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instead, the fireworks have been brought to 11 places in the heartlands. So do head down there if you don\u2019t want to miss the fireworks. <\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These locations include:\u00a0<\/span>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bedok<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bishan<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Boon Lay<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Geylang<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hougang<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jurong<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nanyang<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tampines<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tiong Bahru<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Woodlands<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yew Tee<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are a couple of virtual events held by various community organisers. In fact, some of them sound pretty fun like Bedok\u2019s silent disco event and Sengkang\u2019s magic show! <\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can join the livestream to participate in games and watch live performances.
