From the A-Class, C-Class, S-Class, and even E-Class, you can't really tell that the sizes are different at just one glance.\r\n\r\nSo when you look at the CLA 200 and the S-Class, you would think that they're probably the same size. Just look at it, it looks super cool and edgy with the sloped roofline, low stance, and muscular shape.\r\n\r\nThese features give the CLA 200 such a sensual silhouette and enhance the car's coupe feel. And the coupe look is so prominent that many even call the CLA 200 a 4-door coupe!\r\n<h4><strong>Coupe? A 4-door Coupe?<\/strong><\/h4>\r\nYes, many call it a coupe. I know, coupe's are supposed to be 2 door vehicles with a sloping roofline.\r\n\r\nBu<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">t this 4-door coupe term was actually made popular back in 2005 when Mercedes released the CLS. <\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And since then, many European models have adopted this term too, like the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, Audi S5 Sportback, and even Porsche\u2019s Cayenne Coupe\u2026 yes, SUVs can also be called a coupe!<\/span>\r\n<h4>Sleek yet Aggressive Looks<\/h4>\r\nFrom the front, the handsomeness and aggressiveness of the car truly shine through. With <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 power domes and a clamshell bonnet, it's sculpted to perfection.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11631\" src=\"https:\/\/carro.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/26022020_Merc-CLA200-1012-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 2nd Gen\" width=\"1020\" height=\"680\" title=\"\">\r\n\r\nAnd when you take a look at the nose, some of you might find it familiar. It now looks super clean where all the smooth lines running through the car neatly meet in the rear. Again, it looks similar to the CLS\u2026\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CLA also benefits from having a thinner boot line that incorporates a longer boot. It doesn't feel overwhelming or cluttered.<\/span>\r\n\r\nThe entire cabin is superb, really. Everything is super user friendly and designed with the driver in mind. Sedans like the Mercedes-Benz A200 tend to be more comfortable and spacious, but that's not the case here.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the CLA is longer and wider, it\u2019s actually quite spacious and there\u2019s definitely more legroom here than in the A200.<\/span>\r\n<h2><strong>How Does it Drive?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CLA is packed with a 1,332cc 4-cylinder inline 16-valve turbocharged engine that produces 163bhp and 250Nm of torque, which slightly faster than the previous-generation.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can clock a top speed of 229km\/h and completes a 0 - 100 sprint at 8.2 seconds. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The gearbox is a 7-speed auto transmission, so changing gears is supposed to be smoother, and did <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">you know Mercedes created the first-ever 7-speed auto transmission?<\/span>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11637\" src=\"https:\/\/carro.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/26022020_Merc-CLA200-1014-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Mercedes-Benz CLA 200\" width=\"1020\" height=\"680\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/carro.co\/sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/26022020_Merc-CLA200-1014-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/carro.co\/sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/26022020_Merc-CLA200-1014-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/carro.co\/sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/26022020_Merc-CLA200-1014-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/carro.co\/sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/26022020_Merc-CLA200-1014-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/carro.co\/sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/26022020_Merc-CLA200-1014-2048x1365.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Something that you might need to get used to is the location of the gear selector. It's located behind the wheel, so it might be a little awkward at first.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not only is the gear selector located behind the wheel, but so are the paddle shifters! <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So if you want to have a bit of fun while driving, you can always switch to manual transmission for that supercar feel.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The coupe is built on a pretty solid suspension system that makes turning corners a breeze.
