If you\u2019ve been putting off registering, now\u2019s the time.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019ve already published a full<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/carro.co\/sg\/blog\/guide-vep\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">step-by-step VEP guide<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> - but here\u2019s a quick breakdown of what\u2019s new and what it means for you.<\/span>\r\n<h2>What\u2019s happening?<\/h2>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Malaysia\u2019s Minister of Transport, YB Anthony Loke, confirmed that <\/span><b>VEP enforcement will begin on 1 July 2025<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Ensure your VEP is activated before entering Malaysia.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Check for Outstanding Fines<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Settle any existing fines to prevent complications at the border.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Haven\u2019t registered yet?
